Plot - Near the Arava border crossing, several Ukrainian women pass through the barbed wire separating Israel from Jordan. On the other side of the border a former policeman named Franco picks them up. He now works for a gangster boss who runs an organized prostitution ring in the area. Franco takes an interest in Jana, and she's also being sought out by a dumpy looking farmer named Zeltzer who has found a bag of hers containing photographs of her loved ones. The Thais that work on Zeltzer's farm are being persecuted by Officer Eloni, a tough cop who simply doesn't like them. He's got to look after his disabled father and the only one who can help out is a Philippine gambling junkie named Eddie. Not surprisingly, his gambling debts have gotten him in Dutch with the gangster boss.... These three seemingly unconnected stories unfold in a multiethnic environment. Structured as a mosaic, the drama offers a surprising perspective on social conditions in a region lying near the Dead Sea.

Plot - A hit man for Mossad is given the mission to track down the very old Alfred Himmelman, an ex Nazi officer, who might be still alive. Pretending to be a tourist guide he befriends his grandson Axel, in Israel to visit his sister. He wants to convince her to come back to Germany for their Fathers birthday party.
The two men set out on an extended tour of the country during which, Axel's frank and open attitude challenges Eyal's rigid, cliched values. Their friendship grows until he learns of Axel's homosexuality. With this final straw he leaves.
To finish his mission Eyal has to go to Germany. He meets Axel once more and succeeds in being invited to the family party where secrets will be revealed.

Plot - An IDF Unit in Lebanon (1998) are a week away from release. They are the subject of a documentary at the time and are informed that they must go on a dangerous mission into the "Valley of Dreams" an enemy area that is fabled to be very dangerous and bad luck. The story is shown in both flashback and from many perspectives that includes an inquiry into a tragic deadly incident. We learn about a rivalry in the unit that could be the cause of murder. Realistic and powerful this is a suspenseful story with many surprises.

Plot - Adam Green is a local television reporter for an English speaking news station. He has a thick local accent and embellishes his reports with his own comments and fantasies tending to blur the line between reality and fiction. He encounters a host of bizarre situations and surreal characters such as a blind robber, an angry toy peddler, an obsessive beauty and a wired baker. These characters colour his reports, and indeed, Adam's whole life is a plethora of color that adds technicolour to dreams which are not dreams, and reality which is not real. He creates a news report that is entirely coated, like a "hallucination in croissant sauce".
