Paper Dolls

Plot - "Paper Dolls", a documentary film by Tomer Heyman tells the story of a group of gay Filipino migrant workers that meet every weekend in a small apartment in southern Tel Aviv. Throughout the week they work as caregivers of elderly Orthodox Jews in the Tel Aviv suburb and on weekends they performed before an audience of Filipinos migrant workers across Israel on their drag-queen show, called “The Paper Dolls".
In spite of the chaotic Israeli reality, where fear of terrorist suicide bombers competes with the fear of the "Immigration Police", the group members succeed in expressing their true selves. They see Israel as an open and free place, where they can enjoy sexual and cultural liberty. Bananarama's song "Venus" was used in the film in a scene of live performance of the group in a night club. The movie won three awards at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival.

Plot - Slaymen, a 82 years old Jewish-yamani was one of the soldgers in the Jewish Brigada during the world war II. His sun, Shahar, an unaploid  movie maker, findout that during that time, his father had two Dutch girlfrinds, and it seams that they got pregnant.
The father and the san start a journy together folowing the brigada's roths. Shahar try secretly to find his lost brothers or sisters .
The movie uncover the complex relationship between shahar and his father with humer and sensetivity, and rise questions about father-san relasionships, the tension between myth of heroisem to the realety, and between memory and historical truth.

Plot - The movie "The Holy Father in the Holy Land" follows the visit of Pope John Paul II to Israel during the spring of 2000. The movie was based on archive material that covered the visit, original footage of Christian holy places and some original footage of illustrations of the life in the days of Jesus. The soundtrack was based on the Pope's speeches and some informative-emotive narration.

Plot - The death of the 28-year-old who was sensitive and beautiful like the sun, who became no 1 singer in France, left his fans, family and friends in unbearable pain.
Moshe Brand (his real name) was born 1947 from a polish woman, a survivor of Auschwitz and a survivor from the Russian front in a refugee camp of Israelites on the island of Cyprus.
On November 1947 the family finally arrived to Haifa in Israel were they lived very modestly.
In 1969, Mike Brant met the French singers Sylvie Vartan and Carlos. They both saw Mike's performance and were impressed by his talent and charisma. They invited him to Paris where he met Jean Renard who had a big success with Johnny Hallyday with "How I love you".
In 1970, he became very popular among the French youth. The Israeli radios and newspapers made him their "baby". He recorded the titles "Mais Dans La Lumiere", and "Qui Saura", which became International hits.
With the years his popularity still does not stop growing, he still remains with his deep and overwhelming voice, a legend in our time.

Behind the fence

Plot - In June 2002 Israel began construction of a massive security fence in the area of the Green Line, the unofficial border where Israel meets the occupied West Bank. The Israeli Government said the fence was designed to prevent Palestinian "terrorists" from entering Israel. Not so, said the Palestinians who have denounced the fence as a "wall of apartheid" and accused Israel of sinister motives, saying it is reinforcing its occupation under the cover of security.

Correspondent follows the story of the controversial fence from the outset of construction, through the eyes of Israelis and Palestinians who are directly affected. The film unfolds while the world is preoccupied by the war on Iraq and barely shows a flicker of recognition or interest in the fence, despite its huge implications.

Plot - For two years a film crew documented the daily routine of the Alons, a family of settlers from a settlement near Ramallah. Against the mundane backdrop of familial quarrels and pleasures, the family's sense of dread from an ever-imminent danger mounted like a ring, which slowly was closing in tighter and tighter.

On June 19, 2002 the coverage of the Alon family took a terrible turn. Noa Alon and her granddaughter, Gal, were killed by a suicide bomber in Jerusalem.
