Man
in Black is Back in Walk the Line
WALK
THE LINE, the eagerly anticipated biopic that explores
the early years of music legend Johnny Cash. Directed by James
Mangold and starring Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash and Reese
Witherspoon as June Carter, WALK THE LINE not only celebrates
Johnny's life, but captures the sparks and eventual fire of
one of America's greatest true-life love stories.

Elizabethtown:
A Cinematic Radio Station
Opening this weekend is Cameron Crowe's new film, Elizabethtown.
The film, starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst, features
two Ryan Adams' songs, "English Girls Approximately"
and "Come Pick Me Up" as well as "Summerlong"
by Kathleen Edwards. Duane Allman's song, "Little Martha"
can also be heard in the trailers and ads for the film. This
highly anticipated dramady, like most of Crowe's films, is driven
by the non-stop soundtrack of modern American music and is sure
to be a heartfelt favorite. |

The
Guess Who Score Triple Play in "Stay"
"Stay",
a film by director Mark Forster (Finding Neverland and Monster's
Ball) starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts opened in theaters
today. Pitched by Bug's Creative Department and featured three
separate times in this reality-bending thriller is the hit "These
Eyes" by The Guess Who. "Stay" is the perfect
film to see this Halloween. |

The
Passenger Hitches a Ride With the Weather Man
Iggy Pop's hit song "The Passenger", written by Bug
clients Ricky Gardiner and Iggy Pop, is being used in the new
film (plus trailers and ads) "The
Weather Man", starring Nicolas Cage and directed
by Gore Verbinski who also happens to be a Bug client. Opening
with a wide release this Friday, "The Weather Man"
is compared to the likes of "American Beauty" and
"About Schmidt".

"A
History of Violence," David Cronenberg's new
film, features Paul Burch's "Life of A Fool" from
his fifth album, Fool For Love. This graphic novel adaptation
stars Viggo Mortensen (Lord Of The Rings), Ed Hurt, and Maria
Bello and is in theaters now.

Terri Bomb is Hellbent
Hellbent,
the terrifying new feature from Joseph Wolf (co-creator of
Halloween) has been released and is opening in cities across
the U.S., including film festivals, thru November. This refreshing
new classic for the horror genre includes three songs by Bug
client, Texas Terri Bomb!; her version of The Dicks' "Lifetime
Problems" and two originals "Never Shut Up"
and "Strike Three". Check local theaters to see
if Hellbent is playing near you.

Richard
Thompson Bares All
Richard Thompson composed and performed all of the music for
the heart-wrenching film, Grizzly
Man, that documents the life of grizzly bear activists
Timothy Treadwell and Amie Huguenard. James O'Rourke (also a
bug client) helped Richard out on a few tracks which further
enhances this exploration into the mysteries of nature, both
wild and human. Grizzly Man is playing in select theaters now. |

The Legend of Zorro
It has been 6 years since the last Zorro Film But now Antonio Banderas and Katherine Zeta-Jones are back in the legend of Zorro. Despite trying to keep his swashbuckling to a minimum, a threat to California's pending statehood causes the adventure-loving Alejandro de la Vega (Banderas) -- and his wife, Elena (Zeta-Jones) -- to take action.
