The Perishers enter Canadian Retail Charts at #31
The Swedish group the Perishers, who have been touring with
Sarah Mclachlan throughout North America the last few months,
have entered the Canadian Retail Charts at #31. Nettwerk Songs
Publishing and Awesome Music sub-publish this marvelous group
from orignal Swedish publisher “Push Music”. This Nettwerk-managed
group’s new album “Let There Be Morning” has met with critical
acclaim throughout N.America, as well as selling up to 800
copies a night off stage. The Perishers are a remarkable story
in the making.
Look for a major UK release of the album soon and a return
to North American shores for more touring in the fall.

co-publishing venture
Nettwerk Songs Publishing is pleased to say that we have entered
into a co-publishing venture with “Asim “Awesome” Awin has
for some years been a highly respected individual helping
steerheading dance and rhythmic music in Canada, while also
having a great ear for all kinds of music.
Awesome Publishing Inc. and Nettwerk Songs Publishing have
now joined forces to co-publish and develop both Canadian
and International artists. Some of the initial signings of
this partnership include the representation of Energy Music,
the excellent Italian dance label/publisher, home of Benny
Benassi and many others.
Further to this Awesome and Nettwerk are proud to be publishing
the Perishers, a great Swedish group, whose gorgeous, sparse
arrangements have already now found their way onto ‘One Tree
Hill’, the O/C and many other films and shows.
Nettwerk Productions will be releasing the Perisher’s second
album ‘Let There Be Morning’ in April ’05. We are tremendously
excited that in the spring the Perishers will be touring North
America with Sarah Mclachlan in support of their album.
