The Council of the Second Authority for Television and Radio pronounced on 13.4.05 that Keshet and Reshet are the two franchisees that will operate Channel 2 (the most viewed channel in Israel) for the next ten years. Channel 2 started in November 1993. Broadcasting was provided by three franchisees (the two winners and Tel-Ad) and became the most effective channel in Israel.

The promo and production departments of Keshet have been working with MMG's library music for the past three years. During the years, Keshet created some of the biggest hit-shows in the Israeli television.

The docu-soap "Yerukot" (Green-girls) that was broadcast in YES TV-Satelite was sold for broadcasting in Finland. The sound track (that was based on popular songs) needed replacing and the solution was to use MMG's library music. The series follows a group of girls in their first days in the army, the friendships, the struggles, the differences of the Israeli society.

Tzof Filosof, the music adviser of the show, selected the track "Naughty Wiggles" from Muzikotek for the intro of the show. The music is a combination of dance music, Middle-eastern elements and semi-kleysmer clarinet - a combination that brings the feel of the modern Israel, a combination of old and new, east and west.

Other tracks from Muzikotek, KPM, Extreme and Focus, were selected for the new sound track - tracks with mixture of east and west.

Seventy five years have past since the production of the first Israeli feature film "Oded A-noded" - and this is a good reason for a celebration: a game show and a ceremony of the most loved Israeli film, actor, actress etc - selected by the public.

The game show honoured the Israeli cult films. Three groups (each from one film) were competing about their specialty and answered general questions about the Israeli film industry.

The game-show and the ceremony were produced by "Toseret Haaretz Productions".
The music of the intro and for the inner breaks were taken from MMG's library.

Logi, the science and education channel for children from Noga Communication, created some new IDs channel using MMG's library music.

The Israeli drama "Haya O Lo Haya" that was produced for HOT-cable-TV, wasbroadcast last month on Channel 2 for the first time. The drama takes place in Tel-Aviv of the 30's and brings the story of the stormy romance between the queen of the Israeli theater Hana Robina and the alcoholic poet Alexander Pen.

Edna Maziya and Alona Kimchi created a fantastic script mixed withHebrew and Russian, and brought two bigger than life characters, played by Yevgena Dudina as Robina and Zack Berman as Pen.

The soundtrack of the drama composed by MMG's Avi Benjamin captures the feeling of time, the strong emotions and the influences of the Russian culture on the new born Israeli culture.
