Selected Sound re-launches the library. "Re-launches"
does not only mean that they have new design and more
consistent track listings but also that they developed
a new content strategy.
Of course they are listening very carefully to the
wishes of their partners. More lounge, more songs are
being requested from many of you, better quality and
a stronger focus on original instruments. Yes, they
understood and now you'll find some new productions
reflecting your input - and the story continues.
Some of Selected Sound productions are typical library
CDs. Take Hermann Langschtheyrt's "Travelling Stories"
for instance, music for travel and leisure. Or the mini
series "Latino Cocktail" Volume 1+2, different
tracks of latin-style music - as they in Germany interpret
this sound. The tracks are all available as short versions
in 60", 30" and 15" second edits.
Other productions might sound more unusual to you.
Elva La Guardia composed and performed some wonderful
loungy Spanish songs for us. All tracks are available
as instrumentals on the PLAY
system. And every song has got it's edits, again
in 60", 30" and 15" second versions.
To help you to understand the lyrics you find them together
with an English tanslation in the CD booklet.
"Bo(a)rderland" finally is a very friendly,
calm and descriptive CD from the German band "Acoustic".
The band members are artists, painters and - of course
- musicians. They are used to compose their music to
pictures and paintings. It's unusual, sensual and they
are all sure that you'll like the music.
